Dear Colleagues: On behalf of Japanese Society for Synchrotron Radiation Research (JSSRR), I would like to invite you to attend the 1st Asia/Oceania Forum for Synchrotron Radiation Research being held on November 24-25, 2006 at the Seminar Hall (bldg.#3) of High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) in Tsukuba, Japan. We are very honored to be hosting this meeting, which will be the first scientific meeting of our newly established forum. We are planning single oral and poster sessions at the workshop. Oral presentations are all invited, and poster sessions consist of facility reports and contributed ones. Topics of contributed posters include cutting edge of obtained results on life sciences, material sciences, imaging, and industrial applications and so on, In addition to the development of machine and beamline technology.
