How to reach Tsukuba Center

From Narita Airport to Tsukuba Station/Center

1. Airport Liner Bus (NATT'S) between Narita Airport and Tsukuba Station/Center

you may take an airport bus, Airport Liner NATT'S for Tsukuba and Tsuchiura. Please get off the bus at Tsukuba Center. You can buy the ticket at the Keisei counter where you can easily find in front of you when you reach the arrival lobby.
(About 100 minutes 2,540 JPNYen For Tsukuba Center/Tsuchiura)

2. A taxi

The simplest yet most expensive way is to take a taxi. It would cost you approximately 15,000 - 18,000 YPN Yen. It will take approximately an hour and a half.

From Tokyo Station to Tsukuba Station/Center

1. Bus

You may take Tsukuba Center Line which starts at Yaesu South Entrance of Tokyo Station to Tsukuba Station/Center.

Caution: Mt. Tsukuba Line which starts at Yaesu South Entrance of Tokyo Station to KEK was took out of service from Sep.30,2006.

2. Train

Please take Yamanote Line (via Ueno) to Akihabara (the second stop from Tokyo). You can change into Tsukuba Express at Akihabara station. It takes 8 minutes to get to Akihabara station of Tsukuba Express from one of Yamanote Line. Tsukuba Center is the terminal station.
