We continued vacuum conditioning (outgassing by beams) while keeping the stored beams of 500-400 mA.
Beam dumps happened at 7:48 and 8:13 AM due to an vacuum interlock action, however, beams were quickly restored. Operation was very smooth after that.
Beam current from 9:40 to 0:48 PM. Vacuum conditioning is under way while keeping the stored current of 500-400 mA.
Vacuum pressure in the storage ring at 0:15 PM. Beam current: 460 mA, average pressure: 6.0E-9 Torr, beam lifetime: 50 minutes. Conditioning is under way.
Advance of the stored beam current from 0:00
AM, Oct. 3 to 9:00 AM, Oct. 10 (abscissa: time, ordinate: beam current in
mA).
The stored current increased favorably.
