- Early in the morining (7:43 AM), the stored beam decayed
very fast (from 470 to 0 mA; it happened after flashing Titanium getter
pumps). This decay was possibly due to trapping of some charged micro-particles
in the beam.
- Orbit correction data for insertion devices (used for
independent tuning of the ID's) was taken from 0:00 PM to 10:03 PM. Data
for the undulators #2 and #19 (a set of magnet poles "D") was
taken.
- Vacuum conditioning resumed in the midnitht.
- An integrated stored current of 6.3 A*hrs was gained
during 9:00 AM (Oct. 24) and 7:36 AM (Oct. 25). Average beam current was
279 mA during this period.
