Vacuum conditioning with beams was carried out. The beam current was gradually increased while watching vacuum pressure in the ring.
Injection efficiency was largely improved. Beam filling rate of more than 0.5 mA/sec was obtained.
Increased the number of empty buchets (10% -> 30%) at 9:36 AM. This reduced the beam loss at high currents, which was probably caused by a beam-ion instability. (The stored beam is electrons).
Stored current of 224 mA was achieved at 6:28 PM.
Improved beam filling rate during injection (at around 5:10 AM)
Stored beam current around 10:00 AM. Vacuum conditioning is under way.
Vacum pressure around the ring (log scale, 1E-11 to 1E-7 Torr) at 12:54. Beam current: 140 mA.
