Test of SR (synchrotron radiation) position monitor was carried out (9:44 AM - 1:32 PM). The monitors at the beamlines BL-4, 6, 10, 12, 21 worked well.
In the afternoon, a problem in one of the BBSs (branch beam shutters) was investigaed in the ring shielding. One (SFD) of the sextupole power supplies was also repaired.
A failure in the linac took place in the evening. After the revovery, the beam filling rate of the PF ring greatly improved (see figure).
Stored current of 502 mA was achieved at 7:35 PM. We continued vacuum conditioning through the night.
Beam current from 0:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Test of SR position monitor was carried out at low beam currents. In the afternoon, some maintenance works were performed without any beams.
After the recovery of the linac, beam filling rate was greatly improved due to (possibly) an improved quality of the linac beams.
