1. Outline

BL-28 is a variable polarization undulator beamline and is covered a vacuum ultraviolet and soft x-ray region of 30- 300 eV. For high-resolution ARPES experiments, high-throughput, high-resolution monochromator is designed and installed at BL-28.


 

2. Performance

Optical system : cf. attached figure
Energy region : 30-300 eV (linear), 40-300 eV (circular)
Polarization : Circular (left, right), Linear (horizontal)
Resolution : (E/ΔE)= 3×104 at 30 eV, 2×104 at 65 eV,
Photon flux : 1011- 1012 photons/sec
Beamsize : 0.2 mm (H) × 0.1mm (V)




 

3. BL-28A : High-resolution ARPES

Gammadata Scienta SES-2002
Energy resolution : 6 meV at 40 eV (best)
10-15 meV (typycal)
Sample temperature : 10 - 300 K
