To: PF users

The Photon Factory of IMSS has asked principal investigators to submit the Users' Reports of "Photon Factory Activity Reports (PFACR) " and "Brief Report of the Program". We believe that public relations efforts, including widespread dissemination of the achievements by PF users, are necessary to increase available beam time, as well as other measures to ensure efficient laboratory operation. We are therefore making the submission of PFACR Users' Reports mandatory, while discontinuing the requirement for "Brief Report of the Program".

We ask principal investigators to submit, in principle, at least one Users' Report per experimental subject. However, please also notify us if, for example, experiments were not conducted for some reason. It is important to show users' achievements to government agencies and the Japanese people, especially in view of the recent tightening of budgets. We would appreciate your cooperation.

We are now receiving and publishing PFACR Users' Reports at any time to speed up the dissemination of information. The reports we receive are published on the following website after a quick check by our staff.

The deadline for submitting PFACR 2014 manuscripts is July 10, 2015 (Friday). Manuscripts received after this date will be published as PFACR 2015.
