The scheduled operations for the months of
May to July 2011 were cancelled.

As a direct cause of the devastating earthquakes that hit the north-eastern part of Japan on March 11th, a large amount of damages are observed at KEK and at the Photon Factory.  But fortunately nobody has been injured at KEK.  We are focusing our efforts on a complete restoration of the facility in the shortest delay, but the scheduled operations for the months of May to July will be difficult.

For the future experiments,

1. We will open the advertisement for proposal application in April and the application deadline will be Friday, May 6th.

2. The valid terms of approved proposals are not changed owing to this beamtime cancellation.  Thus those who need more beamtime are requested to submit new proposal(s).
