From Narita Airpot to Tsukuba Center, you may take an airport bus, Airport Liner NATT'S for Tsukuba and Tsuchiura. Please get off the bus at Tsukuba Center. You can buy ticket at the Keisei counter where you can easily find in front of you when you reach the arrival lobby.

From Tsukuba Center to Urban Hotel, you may take a local bus #71, a loca bus C8, Tsukuba City bus or pick-up hotel bus to Urban Hotel from bus stop #1.

For a loca bus, you can get on the bus from the rear door, not the one at the front. Take a paper token when you get on. The amount of charge is displayed on the panel near the front with the token number. It is wise to prepare the exact amount of charge before getting on the bus.
The charge is 430 JPNYen from Tsukuba Center to Urban Hotel.

Tsukuba City Bus runs nearly every 30 minutes from Tsukuba Center.
The fee is 200 JPNYen.

Urban Hotel offers us a pick-up bus service bus two time.

From Tsukuba to Narita Airport

2. A taxi

The simplest yet most expensive way is to take a taxi. It would cost you approximately 15,000 - 18,000 YPN Yen. It will take approximately an hour and a half.

Between Tokyo Station and Tsukuba Station/Center

1. Bus

You may take Tsukuba Center Line which starts at Yaesu South Entrance of Tokyo Station to Tsukuba Station/Center.

Caution: Mt. Tsukuba Line which starts at Yaesu South Entrance of Tokyo Station to KEK was took out of service from Sep.30,2006.

2. Train

Please take Yamanote Line (via Ueno) to Akihabara (the second stop from Tokyo). You can change into Tsukuba Express at Akihabara station. It takes 8 minutes to get to Akihabara station of Tsukuba Express from one of Yamanote Line. Tsukuba Center is the terminal station.

Between Tsukuba Station/Center and KEK

The charge is 430 JPN Yen from Tsukuba Center to KEK,
Please get off at "Ko-ene-ken mae" or " Ko-enerugi kasokuki kenkyu kikou mae" in front of the Gate of KEK.
Please note: #61 Bus dosen't stop at KEK.
