Soft X-ray/VUV studies

[PF Home Page]

Eighteen beamlines providing with soft X-ray (SX)/vacuum ultra-violet (VUV) radiation are in operation. These include several operated by the Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP) and Research Center for Spectrochemistry (RCS), both of which belong to the University of Tokyo. Twelve beamlines use SR from bending magnets and 6 ones use SR from undulators. One of these is a helical undulator.
